11-005 Resolution Amend -Purchasing Procedure
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved That (NTBIRT),the Club president and the VWC Chairman shall each personally exercise personal signature authority for purchases of items less than $500.00. The President and VWC Chairman are authorized to
the decision for purchases less than $500.00 to the purchasing agents within each department
Be It Further Resolved That (BIFRT), the VWC recognizes appointed purchasing agents for the following departments: (1) Shop
(2) Special Projects (3) Toys (4) Lumber (5) Education (6) (7) Carvers (8)
It shall be the responsibility of these purchasing agents to actively coordinate with the Treasurer during the development of the annual budget and to consult with Club officers, when requested, to assure efficient purchasing is maintained within the budget.
BIFRT,items to be purchased exceeding $500.00 in aggregate expense require 2 authorized signatures and shall not be subdivided into subassemblies costing less than the $500.00 limit to circumvent board approval with the exception of items to be purchased for resale to club
