Recommendation of the Printer Proposal Reviewers

First we want to be clear that Murry has once again done a great service to the club for uncovering an opportunity for the club and obtaining a possible solution. We thank Murry for his recognize that the EGP, Inc. solution may be eventually end up being the best solution.
However,
We are concerned about entering a 5 year contract without investigating other options should start by trying to reduce our cost for printing by managing it ourselves.
Therefore, it is recommended we.
1. Defer the EGP, Inc. proposal for at least 6 months.
2. Instruct and empower our office manager to recommend and implement policies procedures that will educate and give guidance to club members to make concerning use of color printing.
3. Have the office manager find a volunteer(s) to investigate alternate solutions for brochure and report recommendations within six months.
4 .Instruct our office manager to collect cost and usage data over the next six months and report results to the Board of Directors.
5. Therefore, consider the set of motions:
Have the office manager conduct a six month study on printer usage and ways to control the
usage. Report the results of the six month study at the April 2012 meeting. It is expected that the study data will make it clear if lease management is the most cost effective.
ii) Table this issue until the April 2012 Board of Directors meeting, when the
study will be completed.
