Proposal for Age Exemption from Monitor Duty
Effective beginning Calendar/Dues year 2016
EFFECTIVE DATE
The following is effective beginning with the calendar year 2016 in order to qualify for an AGE EXEMPTION from Shop Monitor or Tool Crib monitor duty.
GUIDELINES FOR DETERMINING AGE EXEMPTION
A member who has reached the age of 80 before January 1 of the upcoming dues calendar year shall be permanently exempt from performing monitor duty.
Members must also have been members of The Villages Woodworker’s Club for 5 years prior to the upcoming dues calendar year.
The members will present some form of identification at the front office showing that they have reached age 80 by 12/31 of the year prior to the current dues year.
The age exemption does not exempt members from paying dues.
